Bamboo: Light Love Peace

In denial pa talaga ako na Bamboo has moved on.

English Version:

At long last, I have the chance to procure the much-anticipated 2nd album of Bamboo. My first observation was, Bamboo's voice is unparalled. He's the best. But as I listened to their album, I got bored quite easily. I dunno, maybe I'm still biased. I still compare them to RiverMaya. I got used to Bamboo singing the upbeat pop tempos songs of RiverMaya. I'm still in denial that Bamboo has moved on.

There was only one Tagalog song, which makes me think that that song was only a mandatory, otherwise, they would've written an all-English Album.

If we are talking about the songs' melodies, there is really nothing that jumps up on you the first time you hear it.

With regards to the lyrics, they are too depressing for my taste. I think this the band's "dark phase." I cannot really relate, for the stories are not typical. At this day and age, I'd rather be in denial than listen to depressing songs, it makes me more depress.

If we are talking about the production values of the album, it's good. The instruments and the voice go hand-in-hand.

Here is my ratings scale:

5 Farts = Are you out of your fucking mind? What are you waiting for? Buy this!
4 Farts = Idiot! Buy this, it's worth your money.
3 Farts = For Loyal fans only.
2 Farts = You'll be sorry
1 Fart = You're fucking crazy man. You should've used your money to buy food.

My rating of "Light Love Peace" = 3 Farts
